About Tatiana

Artist Statement:  

If Beauty is in the eye of the beholder then eroticism is the ultimate beauty.  Tatiana’s artistic work is an expression of all she’s discovered about female sensuality and the mysteries of the erotic, sex and love.  Her goal is to explore such concepts through art, photography and writing while weaving philosophy of sex and love, feminist views, feminine wisdom and motherhood insanity into what she creates as an artist and writer.

 

Strongly believing in equality between the sexes, Tatiana has learned that feminism hasn’t empowered women in a way that truly helps them.  A starting point may be that women may wish to redefine their erotic selves from their feminine point of view rather than attempting to fit into the patriarchal standards that have influenced centuries of thought for both genders.  Femininity has greater power than feminism.  
 

Biography: 

Tatiana von Tauber is a Czech-American expat whose parents escaped Communist Czechoslovakia when she was a child which has shaped her philosophical views regarding the maintenance and advocacy of freedom to all people from an Existentialist and Humanistic point of view.  

 

Von Tauber is an artist and photographer, writer and blogger whose life is centered on exploring and understanding the philosophy of love, sexuality and eroticism and its influences on society and consciousness, growth and existential freedom and all things feminine through various artistic and creative forms.  

Tatiana is working on a degree in philosophy, with a specific area of interest in sexual morality in an effort to challenge current social ideology.  She is currently taking a break from her studies to write her first novel while also researching for a non-fiction book about love and relationships.

Tatiana has been a photographer for over 20 years and particularly enjoys capturing children and people in their natural environments while being themselves, moments of existence often lost in time as life offers too much to take in at once.  Tatiana’s erotic photography gears to help women redefine their erotic selves through a feminine view, whereby they and others can see the sensuality that resides within all women and the power that holds.  Her resulting work has appeared in various publications world wide.  View her photography and original artwork at www.vontauber.com.

Currently, Tatiana von Tauber resides in Germany with her photographer husband and best friend, Michael S. Troop, and three children.  Visit Michael Troop’s photographic website as his work is fantastic and serves as an inspiration for Tatiana as well.  They often partner photographically to produce the best possible outcome of beautiful imagery.
