“Research has shown*… the most erotic thing a man can do for a woman is the dishes, housework – after she’s had a child.” Naomi Wolf
Um…hmm…
How about the most erotic thing a man can do for a woman is give her a foot, neck and/or back massage after she’s had a hard day when she doesn’t ask for it – after he’s put the kids to bed. THAT is sure to ignite erotic feelings and up his chances of sex, almost guarantee them.
Doing the dishes is just a nice gesture which shows appreciation towards her, their shared household and family. It’s sweet, kind, loving maybe but erotic? That doesn’t get my libido going. I have higher expectations of my man than Naomi, perhaps. Or maybe, I have a man who better understands the ultimate ways of unleashing a woman’s erotic nature which guarantees results. That’s male power over a woman. Leave the dishes for tomorrow. Give me the massage instead.
For a laugh, here’s Wolf’s quote. I cringed in embarrassment for her – and feminism.

Doing dishes and housework as an act of appreciation can be romantic, for sure. It shows caring, tenderness, and empathy when the woman is stressed and tired. But erotic? Please!
I still can’t decide though, if I like the thrill of not getting caught by the toddler or simply not having the toddler around so I can relax and enjoy. I think I’ll opt for the later
Hahaha. Atamian, I think it’s a mood thing but when the chances of getting caught are all the time, and by a 10 y/o girl or a 9 y/o boy, getting caught takes on different meaning. Just wait and see.
Enjoy the toddler days!
